Last Great Day Connection to Yeshua

With Shavuot Yehsua tabernacles with us, and then a double portion of the Holy Spirit with Shemini Atzeret in Hebrew, or “the Eighth Day” – John 7:37-39.

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

With Joel 2:28-29 is see that prophetic connection.

28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.”

An article that is a Hebraic overview of the Last Great Day, the eight day of the Feast of Tabbernacles states,

Rain, of course, is made up of water, descending from the skies. It is a type of the Holy Spirit of God. Comparing God’s Spirit to rain, the prophet Joel writes, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit”
