SUKKOT (TABERNACLES): As I considered the many Biblical mysteries that could be unearthed while studying the Bible for Torah Truth concerning Sukkot 2017, I decided to simply share how I want to live with Yeshua now and all year long with the anticipation of his marriage supper return for his bride…
But, if you know anything about me you will not be disappointed, I will share about all the most important truths of the Wedding Party that will be the Millennium Rein of King Yeshua. Also, I will share important nuances of the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot that my friend Kirt Osier allowed me to share for all to read here.
Paul made sacrifices at the Brazen Alter at the temple in Acts 21:23-26 for his and two gentile’s Nazarite Vow. They wanted to be dedicated to solemn service to the Lord, while Paul prepared to be taken by the Pharisees after visiting Jerusalem. The sacrifice for the Nazarite vow was left intact after the veil was split in two. Perhaps this is an indication of how our spiritual sacrifice of being transformed in our minds to be conformed to the image of Christ is an acceptable spiritual sacrifice in the place of the altar based animal sacrifices.
Consider Romans 12:1-3:
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Thinking about Yeshua truly living with me and my family as the focus and heart of our family helps me to think about how wonderful it will be living in his earthly kingdom during the Millennium. It won’t be a a feeling of loosing anything to give our all to Yeshua. It will be that way because when Yeshua sets up his kingdom and rule there will truly be a perfectly loving marriage relationship that we can enjoy with our king.
I wish to enjoy this Sukkot 2017 with a prepared mindset that is fully engaged in a loving connection with Yeshua. That is the way that it should have been for both Adam and Eve had they refused the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Our Sukka is our family tent. My son and I worked together this past evening to set it up just at sunset. It is a beautiful part of this Fall Feast holiday season. When I look at it and take shelter in it I feel safe from the enemy. Each night we read a part of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb after Yeshua rescues us from onslaught of the Antichrist so we can join him after the “Ten Days of Awe” that prepares us for Yom Kippur Judgement, riding on white horses.
Of course, there is the Revelation 14 separation of the goats from the sheep, and Judgement of fiery Wrath from God to help others avoid through saving faith in Yeshua to be earnestly laboring. We try our best to prepare our children to understand why we need to share Yeshua with others. But, there must be a sense of joy and celebration in this feast between all of us in the family as well.
Listen to Psalm 27. It promises to gather us up and protect us from the wrath of God in his tabernacle in verses 5 and 10. These promises begin with the awakening call of Yeshua’s light and salvation. In this case, the trumpet call of this Fall Feast is that of light and Salvation!
Less than a week prior to the Feast of Sukkot the Yom Kippur Holiday sacrifice and atoning offerings were done with the Ark of the Covenant in the Temple AND the Bronze Altar. One of the physical signs that accompanied the death of Yeshua on the cross was the rending of the Veil of the Temple into two halves, from top to bottom.
Now we can rest in the once for all atoning Sacrifice for our sins that Yeshua made perfect in the Holy Sanctuary in Heaven. This is based on Hebrews 9-10, which shows us that the requirements of the Yom Kippur sacrifice had been fulfilled. Yeshua is the perfect atoning sacrifice for our sins to bring us in repentance and faith back to the Father (Also, Hebrews 6:4 is centered around this.)
Now that all peoples can be grafted into the Cultivated Olive Tree that is Believing Israel (Romans 11), and can be made one with all believers to come near to the Commonwealth of Israel (Ephesians 2), we can have our hearts that have the Torah written on them (Jer 31:31-34, Hebrews 10:16) altar which we use to be living sacrifices.
It is important to have our hearts be the altar of our living sacrifice in Yeshua. One of the first things that the returned exiles did when they came back to Jerusalem from Babylon was to immediately rebuild the altar and begin to sacrifice on it.
The order of importance for rededicating their whole existence in being able to properly keep Torah during that time of the Commonwealth of Israel in Jerusalem was to then rebuild the Temple. Lastly, they rebuilt the city walls.
In Ezekiel’s Temple, there is not scriptural support for a continued Yom Kippur sacrifice, yet the other daily (memorial and remembrance) sacrifices are still performed in some way that might just be a continuation of making ourselves living sacrifices before the king.
17 And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.”
Sukkot is the one Feast that you remind yourself with great anticipation that this is the great joy filled feast when you keep the Lord’s appointed moedim. This is one of the three feasts where we are all mandated by YeHoVaH to come up to celebrate in Jerusalem.
The feast of Tabernacles is one of the feasts that will have all of the nations having to go to Jerusalem to celebrate during the Millennial Reign of Yeshua at Ezekiel’s Temple:
Zechariah 14:16-21, where we see the connection between Sukkot and the the Millennial Reign of Yeshua. As the seventh festival, Succot fits nicely with the 7th Millenium, Millennial Kingdom of Yeshua
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord‘s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.”
Provided here are some of the Sukkot feast verses that relate to us that we are celebrate this Sukkot 2017, and all others for seven days. In Leviticus 23:36 we read concerning Sukkot:
“For seven days present offerings made to the LORD by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering made to the LORD by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work.”
Now in closign, I am going to share Kirt Osier’s revealing messages that he shared with Doug Hamp’s Awakening Report Facebook Group:
Lev 23:42 Seven days ye shall dwell in TABERNACLES (sukkahs): every native in Israel shall dwell in TENTS (sukkahs),
Lev 23:43 that your posterity may see, that I made the children of Israel to dwell in TENTS (sukkahs), when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the YeHoVaH your Elohim.
Kirt shared more on another post at the Awakening Report:
In the midst of describing a seven-day festival, God mentions an “eight day.” This “extra” day is called Shemini Atzeret (“the eighth conclusion”). It is celebrated on the eighth day of the feast of Tabernacles, on the day of Tishrei 22. On Tishrei 23, is Simcha Torah, meaning “rejoicing in the Torah”. The Jewish people celebrate Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah as one day. It is considered the eighth day of the celebration of Succot and represents Olam Haba, the time that comes after the Millennium. The eighth day is therefore, a picture of eternity — and rejoicing in eternity is associated with the Torah.
The Feast (Chag) of Tabernacles (Sûkkot) is a picture the seven thousandth year (Millennium) when Yeshua will Tabernacle/dwell with man from Zion as the roaring Lion King of the earth.
Each of the Seven Appointed times are depicted in the star constellations (Mazzaroth).
The constellation Leo the Lion symbolizes the Feast (Chag) of Tabernacles (Sûkkot) and the millennium reign of King Yeshua.
The alpha star which is in the heart of Leo the Lion has the name Regulus.
Regulus is a Latin word which means king or kingly and has the Arabic name Malikiyy which means king, kingly kingship, royal.
Malikiyy translates into the Hebrew as H4428 melek M-LK which also means king.
Yeshua reigning as King (H4428 melek) is linked with the Feast of Tabernacles (Sûkkot).
The FEAST OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot) is mentioned FOUR times in relationship with Him reigning as King (H4428 melek) in Zechariah Ch. 14 .
Zec 14:9 And YeHoVaH shall be KING (H4428 melek) OVER ALL THE EARTH: in that day shall there be one YeHoVaH, and his name one.
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year TO WORSHIP THE KING (H4428 melek), YeHoVaH of hosts, and to keep the FEAST (Chag) OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot).
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship THE KING (H4428 melek), YeHoVaH of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith YeHoVaH will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the FEAST (Chag) OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot).
Zec 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the FEAST (Chag) OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot).
So, in other words, the FEAST OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot) is a trade-mark of Yeshua’s millennial reign as King.
And the star Regulus or Malikiyy in the heart of Leo the roaring Lion symbolizes this soon to be time of Yeshua reigning as King during the millennial reign when everyone will be required to keep the FEAST (Chag) OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot).
Further evidence of Leo the Lion depicting the time when Yeshua will Tabernacle/dwell with man from Zion as the roaring Lion King can be found in Joel.
Tabernacles (Sûkkot/Booths) is also known as the time of the grape harvest as stated in Deu 16:13.
Deu 16:13 You must celebrate the FEAST OF TABERNACLES (Sûkkot) for seven days, at the time of the grain and GRAPE HARVEST.
The following verses in Joel will then connect the GRAPE HARVEST (Tabernacles) with the time of when YeHoVaH ROARS LIKE A LION out of Zion (the millennium reign).
We also see in these verses from Joel that when YeHoVaH ROARS LIKE A LION out of Zion (the millennium reign) it is also the time of when YeHoVaH DWELLS (tabernacles) in Jerusalem/Zion.
In other words, the following verses in Joel parallel the Zec 14:9-19 verses (posted with the opening post) when Yeshua will Tabernacle/dwell with man from Zion as the roaring Lion King of the earth.
Joe 3:13 Rush forth with the sickle, for the harvest is ripe! Come, stomp THE GRAPES, for THE WINEPRESS IS FULL! The vats overflow (the time of Tabernacles/Sûkkot/Booths).
Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of YeHoVaH is near in the valley of decision.
Joe 3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Joe 3:16 YEHOVAH ALSO SHALL ROAR (the roaring like a lion) OUT OF ZION, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but YeHoVaH will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Joe 3:17 So shall ye know that I am YeHoVaH your Elohim DWELLING (H7931 shâkan) IN ZION, my set-apart mountain: then shall Jerusalem be set-apart, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
Joe 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of YeHoVaH, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
Joe 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
Joe 3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
Joe 3:21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for YeHoVaH DWELLETH (H7931 shâkan) IN ZION.
Again, this is all depicted in the constellation Leo, the roaring Lion and its alpha star Regulus or Malikiyy which means King.”
